Their Lies

Not a Valentine's poem, but one with a much more serious theme: Bullies. I was driven to write this poem because everyday, one boy at my school gets taunted and agonized and teased just for being who he is. Shamefully, I use to be one that laughed at his taunter's jokes, but when I stopped and realized that this boy was seriously hurting, I quit partaking in their rudeness. Everyday, he is treated like a piece of dirt, and I wish people would just leave him alone.

Don't be a dick, don't bully people. You have no right no judge anyone, because you don't know about their life at home. In the end, that "stupid ugly kid" you loved to tease may turn on you and do something you both regret. So don't give them the opportunity to.
